To get inside citadel I had as a king's visitors many years ago to get through
a rising bridge above the moat and the gates.



These are the citadel gates coming through which I appeared in inner yard.



I consider the inner yard as very small.



And the ladders were very thin and not comfortable, but they were very practical in use when defending the castle.
